Dear members, partners and friends,
We are happy to inform you that EAR-AER had an online meeting today, 15th January 2021, with Mr. Gökhan Yildirim, President of DSEIN (Sustainable Smart Cities Association) from Istanbul, Turkey. DSEIN conducts interdisciplinary research in sustainable smart cities, renewable energy, transportation solutions, waste management and public policies and carries out international innovative projects financed by the European Union, with its stakeholders abroad and with domestic ministries, municipalities, universities and private companies.
All the participants in the meeting shared their ideas and proposals on how to establish close cooperation between the two organizations, to pooling resources and jointly tackle regional development challenges in the EU and Balkan Region.
EAR-AER was represented by Mr. Nelu Neacsu, President, Ms. Ionica Oncioiu,Vice-president), Ms. Luiza Hoxhaj, Representative in Albania and Mr. Sasho Kjosev Representative in North Macedonia.
