EAR-AER, as co-partner of the Erasmus+ project “European Youth Alliance For Green Future” selected five students to participate to a training program during 4-12 September 2022 in Istanbul, organised by the World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (Istanbul, Turkije).
Master students Alexandra and Celia from KU Leuven, Tom Vanbergen from VUB Brussels, Sharon from Maastricht University and Ines-Fabiolla from Titu Maiorescu University Bucharest will meet peers from North Macedonia, Romania and Turkije.
The training aims at creating awareness of the Green Deal, to apply its values in daily life, including by using an innovative ICT tool. The training program which will last for a week covers the following issues: “Fundamentals of Green Deal”, “Green Deal and Its Effects on Our Daily Lives”, “Workshop on Critical Thinking (Reflecting on the efficiency of European Green Deal)”, “Learning and Discussing the Concepts of Active Citizenship”, “Local, National and International Politics and Pluralist Democracy” and “Tools for Participatory Democracy”.
