An Educational Workshop within the “Smart4Nature: Education and Technology for Environmental Protection“ project was organised on 13 November 20024 at Vama Buzaului, Brașov, Romania. The project is financed by the Fund for the Environment – the Public Education and Awareness Program on Environmental Protection www.afm.ro.
This initiative brings to schools not only modern equipment but also essential knowledge about air quality and the impact of human activities on the environment. Children are learning now, more than ever, the importance of protecting nature and the health of their community through innovative methods of practical education.
Ecological education, supported by technology, opens up new perspectives for the young generation, forming responsible thinking and a proactive attitude towards the environment.
The project is carried out by the “SUPPORT CENTRE REGION” Association, represented by Silvia-Daniela Pohrib and EAR-AER Represenative, with the support of the European Academy of Regions and in partnership with the Municipality of Vama Buzăului, Brașov County, represented by the Mayor CHIRILAȘ Tiberiu Nicolae, and the Şieuț Secondary School, Bistrița-Năsăud County, represented by Professor Ioan Neagoș.
The next Educational Workshop will be organised in Colibita, Bistrita, Romania between 9-11 May 2025 and our academy will be represented by Louis and Nelu.
