Dear honorary and faculty members, members, partners and friends,
The EAR-AER objective of promoting regional action as a tool for employment, as well as creating wealth and trust for its long-term members and partners, is now more relevant than ever. Therefore, 2024, meant for our academy, is a year of celebration, our 10th anniversary!
We thank all of you, as well as all partners who have joined our various projects, all friends we have met throughout these years, and in particular the Government of Flanders, for the continued financial support. Without their support, our activities could not have achieved the current outreach within and beyond the EU. Thank you all for your trust and appreciation, which we can only reciprocate by continuing and further developing our cooperation.
Now, our thoughts are moving towards the future, towards the year 2025, which we want as the year of European reconstruction, the year of development, the year of performance in all aspects. We expect you to enjoy together a path of respect and solidarity, full of achievements, wealth, and value, with new dimensions approached in events, projects, and dreams.
We hope that in 2025 it will be possible again to organise fact-finding missions to Moldova, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine, among others, and to participate in the events organised by our members or partners, such as “Women Entrepreneurship” Conference in Kragujevac Municipality, Serbia (27-28 February 2025), Educational Workshop within the “Smart4Nature: Education and Technology for Environmental Protection“ project (9-11 May 2025 Colibita, Bistrita, Romania), the FoRLED 2025– the 7th Western Balkans+ Regional and Local Economic Development Forum, Vlore (December 2025) to participate actively in the Stop Bureaucracy campaign and being involved in European Project, the Climate Change Grant Program (CCGP) with the action “Integrated Resource Management for Water Distribution System (ResourceWater4Hatay) in Hatay” Türkiye.
