The activities of EAR-AER in the Western Balkan and Eastern Partnership countries match with the support policy that the Government of Flanders wishes to pursue. The continued support of the Government of Flanders will allow the organisation of fact-finding missions to Moldova and Ukraine, among others, and to participate in the events organised by our members or partners, such as the Western Balkans Forum for Regional and Local Economic Development in Vlorë, Albania, the first Regional Forum in North Macedonia, the 3rd edition of the DigitalNerds Contest 2023, the 3rd „Forum on Local and Regional Economic Development“ in Turkiye.
There are also several seminars envisaged in Brussels, starting with a debate about “ the Benefits of Schengen for local and regional development” by the end of January 2023.
EAR-AER is grateful for this token of confidence and commits to further promote this structural partnership with the Government of Flanders.
