Happy to inform you that our academy will be involved in the sixth Forum on Regional and Local Economic Development in Western Balkans+(FoRLED 2024) will take place in Vlora between 5-8th December 2024!
🌏 After successfully hosting previous editions of the Forum in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2023, showcasing the commitment of the city and organizers, this edition will be international, advancing the progress made in earlier forums. Hosted by CRLDS, the Municipality of Vlora, the Regional Council of Vlora, University Ismail Qemali of Vlora and EAR-AER, this forum will continue to serve as a key platform for shaping regional and local economic development policies in the Western Balkans.
🏙 The 6th FoRLED 2024 in Vlora, chaired by the Center for European Policy Studies on Regional and Local Development (CRLDS), with support from a steering committee of national, regional, and global partners, will focus on the theme: “Bridging Sustainable Blue & Green Development in Albania and the Western Balkans.”
In preparation for the forum, the first regional consultation took place on September 29-30, 2024, in Vlora in a hybrid format, bringing together local government networks from across the Western Balkans and beyond.
